  • - Hotjar Analytics. We use Hotjar, a website analytics tool, to understand how visitors use and experience our Website. Hotjar collects information such as IP address (in anonymized form), device type, screen size, browser information, geographic location (country only), and preferred language. It also records user interactions such as mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling activity. We use this information to analyze usage patterns and improve our Website design and user experience. 5. Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

  • - Promotional Offers from RentVision. If you do not wish to have your contact information used by RentVision to promote our own or third parties' products or services, you can opt-out through RentVision’s ”Cookie Settings” popup and/or by sending us an email stating your request to dataprivacy@rentvision.com. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may unsubscribe by clicking the “Unsubscribe” button at the bottom of the email. These opt outs do not apply to information provided to RentVision as a result of a product purchase, product service experience or other transactions.
  • - Targeted Advertising. If you do not want us to use information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers' target-audience preferences, you can adjust your data privacy settings through RentVisions ”Cookie Settings” popup. 

We do not control third parties' collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way.

6. Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You can review and change your personal information by sending us an email at dataprivacy@rentvision.com to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. 7. Your State Privacy Rights

Rights are afforded to certain U.S. citizens based on applicable privacy laws in their state (“State Privacy Laws”). Depending on applicable State Privacy Laws and subject to certain exceptions, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • - Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected personal information (or their Authorized Agent, if applicable);
  • - Describe your request in enough detail that our team can properly understand, evaluate, and respond; and
  • - Clearly state which right(s) you are exercising.
  • - If your State Privacy Law allows you to exercise rights via an authorized agent, you should also describe and verify your authorized agent status.

If you change your mind and want to opt back in to any of our services that require collection or disclosure of personal information, you can also do this by emailing dataprivacy@rentvision.com.

Please note: We may need to verify your identity before processing the request, and in some cases, we may need to collect additional information for such identity verification. You do not need to create an account with us to exercise your opt-out rights and we will only use the information provided in an opt-out request, or additional identity verification request, to review and comply with your request. Under some State Privacy Laws, you may also designate an authorized agent to make these requests on your behalf. We may require proof of their status as an authorized agent and again request additional information to verify your identity before processing these requests.

California Specific Rights

Residents of California have a few additional rights to those listed above:

  • - Right to Opt-Out: Those aged 16 or older have the right to direct us not to “sell” or “share” (as either term is defined in theCCPA) your personal information at any time.

9. Security of Your Information

We take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not accept liability for unintentional disclosure.

By using the Services or providing personal information to us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of the Services. BY USING THE WEBSITE, YOU EXPRESSLY CONSENT, WITHOUT QUALIFICATION, TO THE COLLECTION, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION, INCLUDING PERSONAL INFORMATION, AS DESCRIBED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO USE THE WEBSITE.

13. Personal Information of Minors

Our Website is not intended for children under 16 years of age. No one under age 16 may provide any personal information to the Website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
