How to Respond to Text Messages in the RentVision Platform

For communities signed up to receive text messages from leads, the option to text will be given on the community's homepage as shown below:

To respond to text messages from prospective new residents, you'll want to log into the RentVision Platform. Once you're logged in, you will see the Dashboard. To respond to text messages from leads, you will need to click on the Leasing tab, then hover over the Contacts tab, and finally click on the Leads subtab. 

Once you are on the Leads tab, click the drop-down box that currently reads "All Leads" and select "Texts."

Now you will see all of your property's leads that came from text messages. Here you will have the ability to respond to prospective future residents inquiring about your community.

In the "Reply to Message" section, respond in a polite manner and try to set up a showing in the near future.

If you are not consistently logging into RentVision Platform to check incoming text messages, you will be notified via email 5 minutes after the initial text message has been sent from the lead. This will prompt you to log in and respond to the message.
